The Federal University of Medical and Health Sciences (FUMHSK), Kwale, Delta State, has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME application process for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Prospective students seeking admission into the highly regarded institution are invited to apply online via the university’s dedicated portal. The application window is now open and will close on August 7, 2026.
A Wide Range of Medical and Science Programs
FUMHSK offers a diverse array of undergraduate programs across its five faculties. Candidates can choose from a variety of courses, including:
- Faculty of Allied Health Sciences: B.N.Sc. Nursing Sciences, B.MLS Medical Laboratory Science, B.Sc. Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and D.P.T. Physiotherapy.
- Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences: B.Sc. Human Anatomy and B.Sc. Physiology.
- Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry: B.D.S. Dental Surgery and M.B.B.S. Medicine and Surgery.
- Faculty of Pharmacy: Pharm.D. Doctor of Pharmacy.

Eligibility and Exemptions
To be eligible for the screening exercise, candidates must have scored 180 or above in the 2026 UTME and must have completed the change of institution process to make FUMHSK their first choice.
The university has also outlined specific exemptions for the Post-UTME screening. Candidates with disabilities (as stipulated by JAMB) and international candidates who participated in the 2026 UTME are exempted from the exercise. In line with JAMB policy, applicants must be at least 16 years of age by September 30, 2026.
Application Requirements
Candidates are required to possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects from WASSEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE O/L. For courses in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, these credits must be obtained in a single sitting, while other courses allow for a maximum of two sittings.

www.fumhskportal.org/postutme/frontend/apply/index.html. - Verification: Enter your JAMB Registration Number to verify your details.
- Account Creation: Create an account and upload a recent passport photograph with a red background (minimum 500KB in JPG or PNG format).
- Payment: Pay a total fee of ₦5,500, which includes a ₦2,000 screening fee and ₦3,500 for portal application charges, via the secure Remita platform.
- Selection: Choose your First and Second Choice programs.
- Submission: Submit your application for validation and final processing.
- Print: Download and print your completed application form (PDF).
- Dashboard: Log in to your dashboard to monitor your application status and receive updates regarding your scheduled Post-UTME date.
Public Warning on Admission Scams
The university’s Registrar, Mr. Ohwojeroh Lucky Mustapha, has issued a strong disclaimer cautioning the public against fraudulent activities. He emphasized that FUMHSK has not appointed or authorized any individual or agent to solicit money or promise admission on its behalf.
All official processes, including form purchases and admission status checks, are handled strictly through the JAMB CAPS portal and the official university website (www.fumhsk.edu.ng). All legitimate payments must be made online via Remita through the university portal.
